Data we collect
We collect only the data needed to provide the service:
- Device identifiers and authentication tokens (stored securely).
- Aggregated activity counts by hour/day (posts + replies totals).
- Time zone and basic app settings needed to render your widgets.
- Push notification tokens (if you opt in to notifications).
- Email address if you join the launch waitlist.
We do not store your post content, message text, or follower data. We do not sell your personal data.
How we use data
- To authenticate your device and keep your account connected.
- To fetch activity summaries from connected networks and render heatmaps.
- To refresh widgets automatically when new activity is available.
- To provide customer support when you contact us.
- To send launch updates if you join the waitlist.
Sharing and disclosure
We use infrastructure providers (such as hosting and database services) to operate DailySquares. These providers process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We do not share your data for advertising.
Data retention
We retain aggregated activity data and tokens only as long as your account is connected. If you disconnect, we delete associated device data, tokens, and activity summaries.
Your choices
- Disconnect your account in the app to delete your data.
- Disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
International transfers
Your data may be processed in regions where our service providers operate. We take steps to protect your data wherever it is processed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will update the “Last updated” date when changes are posted.
